Case Study - A Higher Perspective on Death, Grief & Loss
Client W came to me right after her father passed away in a state of shock,
frustration, and almost paralyzing sadness. At first I just listened to her sorrow
and let her grieve, gently supporting her as she told me what she wished she
could still say to him but wouldn’t get the chance now to say.
At the first natural pause in her process, I asked her if she’d like to feel where her
father’s spirit was in that moment. She opened her eyes, was able to shift out of
her grief for just a moment, and I helped her tune into her father’s spirit in that
moment. We both felt a surge of beautiful energy that brought tears to our eyes.
Her father’s spirit was right with her, shining brightly, emanating timeless love
from just beyond the veils of the body. He spoke to her in the quiet of her mind,
and shared several insights with me as well.
She later told me on several occasions how grateful she was for that shift. She
has been developing the spiritual connection with her father since then, and told
me that she feels closer to him now than when he was in the body. For his own
reasons, he was not able to give her the love she wanted as her father, but now
that she is able to consciously attune to his spirit, the love and guidance is free
flowing. She has a sense of fullness and peace with him now.
